The final product symbolised the high-quality screws, nuts and bolts from a practical standpoint, whilst creating a pattern of connecting hexagons to represent relationship building.
In the centre of the logo is the ‘precision’ point as a nod to the business name, along with the brand values of reliability and quality. The last important note is the hexagon layer that breaks form to create the letter ‘P’. It is common practice that a logomark will reference business name letters to help produce a recognisable image.
From the logo design we were able to expand upon the business colour scheme with both primary and secondary colour palettes, as well as the primary and secondary font types. This was presented within the visual brand guidelines and has helped Precision Fasteners to create consistency in their future graphic design projects which include stationery design, website design, packaging design and social media design.
Within these brand guidelines we also established the complimentary shapes, iconography and layout that support the angles and style within the logo design. These types of elements can be used within the background of social media templates, website design, presentation design or brochure design. It adds extra depth to the brand personality and allows Precision Fasteners to prepare for a growing business that will no doubt be creating additional assets as they expand within the Australian market.
